Empirically when you do private label jean, you have to have some kind of proof that your label is yours and you’re not copying other people’s label. Otherwise, your jeans will be held by Chinese customs and your country’s customs.

If you’re planning to have custom made buttons, rivets, or label with your logo/design on it, you will have to pay extra because the manufacturers have to make a custom mold just for your design. But, that’s only one-time charge. If you decide to make a second order with the same manufacturer, you only have to pay for the jeans, no more mold costs.

Usually jeans manufacturers minimum order is 100 pieces. You can rarely find manufacturers who want to make 50 jeans. If they do, usually you have to pay extra for that. Keep in mind, the more quantity you order, the cheaper the cost per jeans is. If you order 10,000 jeans, usually they will not charge you the label fee.
